A method for manufacturing a twisted yarn comprises twisting together a plurality of filaments along with a flyer 4 by rotating the flyer 4 to obtain the twisted yarn. At least a measured value of a length of the twisted yarn and a tension value applied to the twisted yarn are stored with predetermined amounts in a wireless slave unit installed within a rotating range of the flyer 4. When a demand from a wireless master unit 30 installed out of the rotating range of the flyer 4 is transmitted to the wireless slave unit 20, the wireless slave unit 20 transmits the stored measured value of the length and the tension value with the predetermined amounts in the wireless manner collectively to the wireless master unit 30.
