A preform 50 of the vehicle wheel having a disc 51 and a rim original form 52 is firstly casted. A second part 52y becoming an annular thick part of the rim original form 52 is induction-heated in a subsequent previous heating step. Spinning processing accompanying with thickness reduction is applied to the second part 52y of the rim original form 52 of the preform 50 immediately after the previous heating step. Thereby, a rim 52' having a shape of a final shape or close to the final shape is obtained.
