A guide part 41 of a punch 42 is entered in an end of a hub shaft to press the punch 42 against the end of the hub shaft with predetermined pressurization force; rocking motion is generated in a caulking tool by rotating a main shaft coincident with the axis of the hub shaft; and a caulking part 12 and a spline tooth part are formed at the same time by plastic deformation while suppressing plastic deformation of the hub shaft end to the inner diameter side by the guide part 41.
