Abstract:

To provide a method of manufacturing a vehicular wheel, allowing quality improvement and manufacturing cost reduction.

A method of manufacturing vehicular wheel has the intermediate raw material molding step of molding an intermediate material 2 that a raw material part 22 for perfect circle cylindrical rim is provided on an outer periphery of a raw material part 21 for disc integrally with the raw material part 21 for disc by casting, and the flow forming step of drawing an inner part 224 on the rear side of the raw material 21 for disc in the raw material part 22 for rim further rearward. The intermediate raw material molding step is a step of forming the intermediate raw material by charging hot metal into a cavity C_R for rim from the outer peripheral side of the cavity C_R for rim, by using a molding device 3 having a cylindrical cavity having a volume needed to obtain a finished rim part 12 and a thickness allowing formation of the raw material part 22 for rim into a perfect circle cylindrical shape as the cavity C_R for rim for molding the raw material part 22 for rim.
