The intermediate raw material molding step is a step of forming the intermediate raw material by charging hot metal into a cavity CR for rim from the outer peripheral side of the cavity CR for rim, by using a molding device 3 having a cylindrical cavity having a volume needed to obtain a finished rim part 12 and a thickness allowing formation of the raw material part 22 for rim into a perfect circle cylindrical shape as the cavity CR for rim for molding the raw material part 22 for rim.
