Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a vinyl chloride polymer that can control a foaming phenomenon in the polymerization reaction system, prevent sticking of a scale to a polymerization reactor, and provide the vinyl chloride polymer having excellent quality.
The method for manufacturing a vinyl chloride polymer comprises adding an aqueous medium in an amount equivalent to 1.2-3.0 times the volume shrinkage amount from the time of polymerization conversion of 40% to the time of polymerization completion after conversion of the polymerization of a vinyl chloride monomer reaches 40%.
