To provide a method for manufacturing a wheel-and-axle unitcomposed of an axle and wheels by which a step to attach the wheels to the axle can be eliminated.
The wheel-and-axle unit is manufactured by forming a cavity 41a being a space for forming the wheel 21 by wheel molding dies 31a-33a, injecting a prescribed resin to the cavity 41a, and molding the wheel 21. The wheel 22 is molded in the same way. Then, a cavity 42 being a space for forming the axle 10 is formed by axle molding dies 34a, 34b, 35a, 35b, 36, 37, and the wheel molding dies 33a, 33b. The cavity 42 is formed to allow an axle body part 11 to penetrate the wheel hole 23 of the wheel 21 and the wheel hole 24 of the wheel 22. A prescribed resin different from the former resin is injected to the cavity 42, so as to mold the axle 10. Then, the wheels 21, 22 are moved to wheel ends 12, 13.
