To provide a method for manufacturing a wheel disk of an automobile, by which method, the weight balance of the wheel disk in the peripheral direction can be appropriately kept when an air valve integrated with a pneumatic pressure detecting device has been installed.
An overhang flange portion 35 is formed in a restrike process by bending a portion between a pair of spoke portions 7 having a neighboring ornamental hole 9a at a radially outward projected position by a required amount from other outer annular portions 33. The overhang flange portions 35 are excessively cut in a fitting surface cutting process by an overhang dimension r compared to other flange portions 11 such that the respective outer surfaces make a fitting surface 36 having a shape of a uniform diameter in the peripheral direction. As a result, the weight balance of the automobile wheel 1 having the pneumatic pressure detecting device can be appropriately kept.
