Abstract:
To provide a method for manufacturing a wheel of a vehicle which can improve the yielding ratio.
The preform 50 for the wheel of the vehicle, which preform 50 integrally has a disk portion 51 and a thick-walled rim prototype portion 52, is manufactured by casting using forging materials of aluminum alloy, such as 6061, etc. in JIS. After that, a rim portion 52' having the final shape or the shape nearly equal to the final shape is obtained by applying the spinning, which can reduce the thickness of the rim, to the rim prototype portion 52 of the preform 50.
