To continuously manufacture flawless wire using high speed tool steel as raw material.
The method for continuously manufacturing flawless wire using high speed tool steel as raw material consists of: a process for feeding a wire rod and preliminarily drawing at a prescribed reduction rate of area using a first die; a process for detecting, by a flaw detector, flaws existing on the surface of the wire rod preliminarily drawn and further drawing flaw-contained wire rod at a prescribed reduction rate of area using a second die; a process for grinding to remove flaws on receipt of a signal of the flaws detected by the flaw detector and drawing again at a prescribed reduction rate of area using a third die; a process for inspecting the remainder of the flaws ground and removed on the wire rod drawn at the prescribed reduction rate of area and still further drawing at a prescribed reduction rate of area using a fourth die; and a process for coiling the drawn wire for which, with drawing performed at a prescribed reduction rate of area, the roundness is guaranteed for the flaw-removed part of the wire.
