PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing two sheets of uniform wood fiber boards having substantially no density difference in the thickness direction, at a time.SOLUTION: A first fiber layer 1 mainly made of wood fiber has an average density of 0.65 to 1.00 g/cmin the layer and a density difference in the layer of 0.05 g/cmor less. A second fiber layer 3 mainly made of wood fiber has an average density of 0.65 to 1.00 g/cmin the layer and a density difference in the layer of 0.05 g/cmor less. The first fiber layer 1 and the second fiber layer 3 are laminated sandwiching a splitting layer 2 including 90 wt.% or more of sander dust produced in a manufacturing process of a fiber board and/or a particle board, with an adhesive already cured by hot pressing being attached thereto, so that a wood fiber board is produced. The wood fiber board is then split along the splitting layer, so that two sheets of thin wood fiber boards can be obtained, including a wood fiber board made of the first fiber layer and a wood fiber board made of the second fiber layer.
