To provide a method for manuring a tea field made on a slant ground, capable of reducing manuring frequency and preventing the bad influence on absorption roots of tea trees without polluting water systems.

This method for manuring a tea field on a slant ground is to dig holes 9 having 3-45 cm width and 10-200 cm depth in troughs 5 among ridges of tea trees 1 planted on the slant tea field, fill the holes 9 with powder and granular materials 8 and successively manure fertilizer 7 in the said troughs 5 among the ridges. The powder and granular materials preferably comprise ≥10% of porous materials. The porous material and sand are preferably mixed in (1:9)-(9:1) in weight ratio. The porous material is preferably one of zeolite, vermiculite, perlite, etc. or a mixture thereof.
