A method for marking spectacle lenses according to the present invention comprises: a patterning process for forming mark patterns 102 by an ink jet method that supplies a plurality of ink droplets of ultraviolet curable ink through a nozzle to an ink receiving section; a transferring process for transferring the mark patterns 102 having been formed by the patterning process onto surfaces 101, on which water repellent layers are provided, of spectacle lenses 100; and a curing process that irradiates with ultraviolet light the ink droplets constituting the mark patterns 102 having been transferred by the transferring process so as to cure the ink droplets.
