Abstract:
PURPOSE:To precisely measure the amount of a suspended substance as a height, by separating and precipitating the suspended substance in a liquid in a fine tube part and also controlling the catching degree thereof. CONSTITUTION:The leading end part C of a detection pipe 1 made of transparent glass or plastic is made fine and a cap 2 is mounted to the leading end of said leading end part C in a freely detachable manner and a scale displaying a height is provided to the surface of the fine pipe part C from the leading end thereof. An extract A having a suspended substance B mixed therein is put in the detection pipe 1 and the suspended substance B in the liquid is separated and precipitated in the fine pipe part C of the detection pipe 1 by a centrifugal separator 3. Subsequently, by reading the height X of the precipitated suspended substance B, the rough amount of the suspended substance B can be measured.
