To provide a method for measuring ATP for correcting a unique value, such as permeability, color or pH, possessed by the liquid component.
The method for measuring an amount of ATP in a sample as a liquid includes steps of: extracting ATP (S103) existing in microorganism cells contained in the sample after erasing the ATP (S102) existing in the microorganism cells contained in the sample; adding a luminescence reagent and measuring an amount of a first light emission (S104) after adding the predetermined ratio of ATP standard solution containing the known amount of the ATP; adding the luminescence reagent and measuring an amount of a second light emission (S105) after adding the predetermined ratio of blank liquid containing less amount of the ATP than the ATP standard solution; and calculating an amount of the ATP (S106) in the sample based on the amounts of the first light emission and the second light emission.
