To provide a method for measuring the degree of saturation of ground, which is employed for a ground liquefaction prevention method for unsaturation degree of the ground by injecting air into the ground, which makes the degree of the saturation of the whole prescribed ground measured in a two-dimensional or three-dimensional manner, and which enables the degree of the saturation of the ground to be accurately measured by a combination of two types of measuring methods.
The degree of the saturation of the ground is measured by measuring a dielectric constant of the ground by means of a dielectric constant measuring device. Additionally, the degree of the saturation of the ground is measured by measuring a rate of change of specific resistance of the ground by means of a specific resistance tomography measuring device. A correlation between the degrees of the saturation of the ground is derived from the result of measurement by the specific resistance tomography measuring device and that of measurement by the dielectric constant measuring device. The result of the measurement by the specific resistance tomography measuring device is calibrated on the basis of that of the measurement by the dielectric constant measuring device.
