PURPOSE: To obtain a method of measurement capable of surely preserving a very small amount of an enzyme-containing liquid specimen, especially analyzing factors of humor specimen, optionally transporting and then measuring enzyme activity in sufficient accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: A specimen containing an enzyme to be examined is supplied to an element for receiving the enzyme to be examined, not containing a measuring reagent to be directly reacted with the enzyme to be examined and the specimen and a desiccant are put in a container substantially not to permeate water vapor. ≥90% water in the specimen is removed at ≤50°C, the measuring reagent to cause detection reaction is deposited on the element for receiving the enzyme to be examined and activity of the enzyme to be examined is measured. Or, the specimen is extracted from the element for receiving the enzyme to be examined, the measuring reagent to cause detection reaction is added to the extracted solution and activity of the enzyme to be examined is measured to give the method of measuring enzyme activity.
