Abstract:
To provide a measuring method that accurately measures a leakage current on the basis of the deterioration of an insulator layer even if it rains or in a highly humid environment.
When measuring a leakage current, a dry air circulation unit 31 including an air compressor 32, a tube 33, a plastic bag 34, and a string member 35 is attached to the edge of a high-voltage cable 1. The edge of the high-voltage cable 1 is covered with the plastic bag 34, and dry air generated using the air compressor 32 is circulated within the plastic bag 34, thereby regulating the humidity within the plastic bag 34 to be predetermined humidity or less.
