Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately measure the amount of over-traveling with one measuring operation by photographing an armature and an armature suction member at the instance of turning ON/OFF of a contact following the operation of the armature and calculating a gap between the armature and a suction image based on the obtained images.
SOLUTION: Yokes 12a and 12b, an armature 11 and a card positioned in the rear side of an end surface are illuminated by an illuminating means using a condenser lens, and images photographed by a CCD camera from the end surface side appear as shades against the background of the brightly illuminated card. In the obtained images, regions A and B are respectively divided into pluralities of windows W1 to W5. Then, from the windows, one having a smallest white pixel number is selected, the total white pixel number of the selected window is divided by the pixel number of a vertical direction and thereby a distance between the armature 11 and the yokes 12a and 12b is calculated to be set as the amount of over-traveling.
