Abstract:

PURPOSE: To accurately measure temp. distribution in inner part of a regenerator in a hot stove.

CONSTITUTION: In the inner part of generator 10 in the hot stove, a guide pipe 12 extending to this height direction is set and in this pipe 12, an optical fiber 14 for measuring the temp. is inserted. In this optical fiber 14, a laser beam is made incident and Raman scattering beam returned back to incident side is detected with time division and temp. is specified from intense ratio of Stoke line/anti-Stokes line in this Raman scattering beam, and by specifying the scattered position from the time needed to return, the temp. distribution in the height direction of the regenerator is measured, e.g. at the interval of 1m.
