Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for accurately measure the thickness of a laminat ed body.
CONSTITUTION: A carrier 6 is subjected to index transfer by a straight forward conveyer, each one or more sheet-shaped member is inserted into a laminated body housing space 6a of the carrier 6 at each station, and then a specified number of members are piled up to form a laminated body 3. On the other hand, a reference surface 6h is formed at a certain distance from the bottom surface of the laminated body housing space 6a of the carrier, sensor 16 and 17 are allowed to contact a reference surface 6h and the upper surface of the formed laminated body 3, and then the thickness of the laminated body is measured according to the difference between the tips of the sensors. The influence of the deflection which the straight-forward conveyer receives due to measurement pressure etc., can be eliminated for measurement, thus measuring the thickness accurately.
