Abstract:
To provide a method for modifying an epoxy resin, by which the mol. wt. distribution of the epoxy resin can simply be adjusted.
This method for modifying the epoxy resin comprises dissolving the epoxy resin in a good solvent, mixing the solution with a poor solvent for the epoxy resin, and then separating the poor solvent-dissolved component (low mol. wt. epoxy resin) from the good solvent-dissolved component (epoxy resin oligomers or epoxy resin polymers).
