Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a good quality product at low cost by enabling stable operation in the whole device operation period.
CONSTITUTION: Besides a first driving device 4 to move only a lower crucible 12 and a first control device 41 to control it, a second driving device to change a vertical directional relative position between an upper crucible 11 and an induction coil 2 and a second device to control it are provided. Thereby, respective relative positions between the upper crucible 11, the lower crucible 12 and the induction coil 2 can be freely changed. Thereby, according to a position of a melting part 51 in an upper tip part of a material 5 to be melted growing when small pieces 53 are continuously inputted, the relative positions between the induction coil 2, the upper crucible 11 and the lower crucible 12 can be properly set over the whole operation period to the final stage from the initial stage of operation.
