Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding method for a cylindrical material capable of simply forming a bottom part with a through-hole to the cylindrical material using a simple device without generating the cutting chips which deteriorate the cleanliness of a product.SOLUTION: There is provided a molding method for forming a bottom Pb with a through-hole Pc to a cylindrical raw material W. The method comprises: contacting one end of the material W with the forming face Da of a molding die D which has a protrusion Db in a central part and is formed into a recessed shape while relatively rotating the material W and the molding die D around the axis thereof; and conducting a closing treatment by compressing in an axial direction and applying a plastic deformation process to form the bottom Pb which is thicker than the material W and is provided with the through-hole Pc.
