Abstract:
To provide a method of molding a hand, a foot or the like, capable of more easily and surely realizing molding.SOLUTION: A method of molding a hand, a foot or the like, comprises the steps of: obtaining a female mold by pressing a hand or foot (paw) of a person or a pet into light-weight clay held tabular having a predetermined thickness in a mold frame; retaining the light-weight clay for a desired period of time in a seal pack in such a way to allow transfer or storage in a state in which characteristics of the clay are maintained; coating wax on a surface of the light-weight clay including the female mold taken out of the seal pack; standing a transparent film from the surface of the light-weight clay, the film being made cylindrical so as to encircle the female mold therein; flowing plaster into the transparent film and drying the plaster; removing the transparent film and separating the light-weight clay and the plaster from each other; and eliminating residue of the light-weight clay remaining in the plaster using a brush.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
