Abstract:
To provide a method of molding a non-magnetized magnet piece that is capable of preventing the occurrence of chips and cracks in a non-magnetized magnet block body when cutting the non-magnetized magnet block body.SOLUTION: A method of molding a non-magnetized magnet piece includes a first molding step of molding a non-magnetized magnet block body 10 with a slit groove 20 formed therein, and a second molding step of molding a non-magnetized magnet piece 1 by cutting the non-magnetized magnet block body 10. The slit groove 20 has a bottom part 21 formed at a prescribed depth from a slit groove forming surface 14 and a pair of side wall surfaces 22L and 22R. Tapered parts 23L and 23R that have a decreasing slit width as they approach the bottom part 21 are formed in the pair of side wall surfaces 22L and 22R. The second molding step includes a step of cutting the non-magnetized magnet block body 10 while relatively moving a cutting blade 50 and the non-magnetized magnet block body 10 so that the cutting blade 50 passes through the slit groove 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4B
