Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simplify molds, to improve moldability and to improve the strength of the frame by winding and laminating an FRP material for forming an outside shell layer around a core material, holding gut protective body forming material in the position bored with the gut holes on the outer peripheral surface, disposing the material into the molds and molding a resin material, then grinding gut protective bodies after parting from the molds.
CONSTITUTION: The core material 3 consisting of a foamed synthetic resin is coated with a sleeve consisting of carbon fibers, etc., as a material 10 for FRP forming to form the outside shell layer 6. The gut protective body forming material 9 is stuck to the positions forming recessed grooves 7a, 7b on the inner and outer peripheral flanks of a ball hitting part and the outer periphery thereof is coated with one layer of the sleeve as the protective layer holding the gut protective body forming material 9. This material is fitted into the molds 12 and is clamped; thereafter, the resin material for molding is poured therein and is molded by reaction curing. The gut protective bodies 4a, 4b integrated to the outside shell layer 6 by forming a gut protective groove 5 on the gut protective body forming material 9 fused to the outside shell layer 6 after parting the racket frame from the molds are ground and are then bored with the gut holes.
