PURPOSE: To minimize the loss of raw material and to improve the operation efficiency, by attaching temporarily a gas permeable member to the inside of a mold, injecting a reactive and foamable synthetic resin material into the cavity of the closed molds, and foaming the resin material.
CONSTITUTION: The upper mold 1 has an air vent 5 extending from the cavity 3 to the outside of the upper mold 1, and the gas permeable member 6 is temporarily attached to the air vent 5 on the side of the cavity 3. A prescribed amount of reactive and foamable synthetic resin material is injected via a material injection inlet 7 into the cavity 3, and is foamed to fill the cavity 3 so that the foamed component having the shape in conformity to the shape of the cavity 3 is obtained. In this case, the air in the cavity 3 is discharged outside through the gas permeable member 6 from the air vent 5, and the resin material is impregnated into the gas permeable member 6 and is cured but not to reach the air vent 5.
