Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a tire component member which can suppress rubber breaking of the front end part of a rubber strip material and can improve winding accuracy to improve uniformity.
SOLUTION: While extruding an uncured rubber strip material S from a plunger-type injection device 1, the uncured rubber strip material S is spirally wound around a molding drum 3 to mold a side rubber part 20, a rim cushion part 21, and a gum finishing part 22. In this case, an initial stage Xs winding speed and a final stage Xe winding speed of the rubber strip material S are made lower than the speed of extrusion from the injection device 1, while the winding position of the rubber strip material S is specified.
