Abstract:

To provide a method for molding a tire in which a tack and vulcanization adhesive properties at the time of molding the connecting surface (splice surface) of a tire tread are improved.

The method for molding the tire comprises the steps of cross- sectionally cutting both ends of a strip-like material at a cutting speed of 20 to 95 mm/s, so that a cutting angle α becomes 20 to 60° by a cutter heated to 140 to 260° in the case of connecting one end to other end of the strip-like material made of an unvulcanized rubber composition to form a connecting surface, and then laminating these connecting surfaces to each other.
