To provide a method for monitoring malfunction of an aircraft engine.
This invention relates to a method for monitoring the aircraft engine provided with at least two engines. Each engine is controlled and monitored by an engine monitor computer. The computer is mutually connected to a communication network and monitors operation parameters p, V of the monitored engine. In the method, it is diagnosed that one of engines m(k) operates abnormally when both of computers send a value V(k) of at least one parameter p(k) to a network 5 (60, 100) for comparing the same with a value V(k') of same parameter p(k)=p(k') sent by another computer (62, 102, 103, 104) and when the value Vk deviates from another value V(k') by only difference from a predetermined threshold S, d1(k), s2(k), d3(k).
