Abstract:

To facilitate monitoring heat generation and discharging RDF (refuse-derived fuel), identify the cause and location of heat generation, temporarily cool the location of heat generation, and prevent heat accumulation and heat generation in advance.

Gas sampling ports 7 for sucking and sampling the gas in an RDF space stored in an open pit are installed at a plurality of places of the bottom surface 2. Sequentially sampled gases are introduced to a metering control device 5 by a gas sampling pipe 3 through an opening and closing valve 4. Components and/or temperature of the introduced gas sample are sequentially measured at each sampling port. Furthermore, a gas blower 8 is installed in connection with the gas sampling pipe 3 and. When the location of heat generation of refuse-derived solid fuel is identified, the gas sampling is stopped and nitrogen gas is introduced through the gas sampling pipe 3 to the identified location.
