To exert high usefulness and reliability by delaying each start of monitoring by a shorter sampling time than a monitor time.
A difference (absolute value) between a data BFn of a previous monitor time ΔT and a data BF0 of a buffer 0 is compared with a monitor width SV. When the difference (absolute value) of the data BFn of the previous monitor time ΔT and data BF0 of the buffer 0 is smaller than the monitor width SV, the process is returned. On the other hand, when the difference (absolute value) of the data BFn of the previous monitor time ΔT and the data BF0 of the buffer 0 is not smaller than the monitor width SV, a change amount ΔPV is calculated from the lapse of the monitor time ΔT thereafter, and a warning signal is generated. A temperature rise of a bearing metal is accordingly restricted by a warning buzzer, a warning lamp, etc., thereby preventing seizure of the bearing metal.
