PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save labor and time necessary for carrying out steps associated with mounting of air conditioning equipment, to improve the working efficiency and setting accuracy of the mounting work, and to shorten a construction period of the entire work to a minimum extent.
SOLUTION: There is provided a method for mounting the air conditioning equipment or the like in an underground space, which is comprised of a foundation forming step, a temporary packer forming step, a machine base setting adjusting step, and a permanent packer placing step. In the foundation forming step, foundation concrete is placed in an area where the air conditioning equipment or the like is mounted in the underground space, such that a plurality of anchor bolt setting holes each having a predetermined depth are formed therein at about the center of the concrete. In the temporary packer forming step, temporary packers to be arranged on the foundation concrete are formed. In the machine base setting adjusting step, a machine base for the air conditioning equipment or the like is mounted on the temporary packers via lock stands and height adjusting members, and the height and horizontality of the machine base are adjusted. In the permanent packer placing step, permanent packers are placed between an upper surface of concrete placed for fixing the anchor bolts and the machine base of the air conditioning equipment or the like.
