Abstract:
To make the movement of terminal storage data between portable telephone sets reliable while securing copyright protection to the terminal storage data stored in a portable telephone set.
The terminal storage data stored in a portable telephone set 10 before exchange are enciphered by using a user-specific key downloaded from a user management server 50, the enciphered terminal storage data are written to a memory card 20, the enciphered terminal storage data written in the memory card 20 are read with an exchanged portable telephone 30, and the terminal storage data read with the exchanged portable telephone 30 are decoded by using the user-specific key downloaded from the user management server 50.
