Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a refocused image from 4D raw light field data for a given focus plane value g.SOLUTION: The method is implemented by an electronic device and characterized by comprising determining at least one pixel value, for at least one color component, of the refocused image at coordinates [(k,l) of N]. The determining step comprises: obtaining at least one projected pixel value with coordinates included in a neighborhood of the coordinates (k,l), for the at least one color component; weighting the at least one projected pixel value on the basis of a function, thereby outputting a weighted value; and updating the at least one pixel value, for the at least one color component, of the refocused image at coordinates (k,l) with the weighted value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7c
