Abstract:
To provide a method for obtaining a weight of a cross-wound package produced by a textile machine including a plurality of working units, the textile machine including a winding device for laying threads on the cross-wound package, and a capacitive thread clearer located in a region of a thread travel path to eliminate unwanted mass deviations of the threads during a take-up process, wherein a weight of the cross-wound package produced by the working units of the textile machine can be set in order for an operator of the textile machine for producing the cross-wound package to grasp a production output of the textile machine, and it is preferable to be identical with respect to the package weight as much as possible.SOLUTION: A thread mass of threads scanned by a thread clearer is sequentially scanned to obtain a thread mass value, and in order to obtain a weight of a cross-wound package based on the thread scan by the thread clearer, it is stipulated to obtain a value integrated over a thread production length of the cross-wound package.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
