Title:
METHOD OF OPERATING FIRING INSTALLATION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH03177703
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minimize a harmful substance release value of firing installation, by forming combustion air for a burner from a single level type or a multiple level type mixing of fresh air and a flue gas to accomplish a preheating.

CONSTITUTION: A first preheating is performed for fresh air 6 sucked in by a blower 5 when an air/flue gas mixed gas 10 to be used as combustion air flows into a burner 4 and a first additional mixing with a hot flue gas 7 is performed in the burner. A second preheating stage is made up of a heat exchanger 2. In this case, a mixed gas 8 passes through an operable heat exchanger 2a by the flue gas 7 in a passage to the heat exchanger 2. A third preheating is performed in a range of a jet injector 3. At this point, another flue gas 7 is supplied to a mixed gas 9 of the preheated air/fuel gas. Thus, a high temperature of combustion air 10 accomplishes a high level of fuel evaporation and a higher recirculation rate causes a decrease in the concentration of O3 in the combustion air. Eventually, a lower temperature of flame is generated, thereby enabling lowering of the NOx release value.
