To drastically improve the heat-efficiency of a hot stove for blasting into a blast furnace.
In a method for operating the hot stove facility provided with the plurality of hot stoves for blasting into the blast furnace, in at least one time during operation, the hot-blasting temperature is controlled by adjusting the blasting amount into the hot stove during blasting process and also, the excessive hot blast which is not blasted into the blast furnace, is introduced into the other hot stove during the combustion process through a branch-off tube branched in the way of the blasting tube for blasting the hot blast into the blast furnace. Then, the hot blast is used with either or both modes, in which (α) the hot blast is used as heat source for preheating air for combustion and/or fuel gas, and (β) the hot blast is mixed into the air for combustion and also, the generation of electricity using the pressure and/or the heat of the hot blast, is performed with the electricity-generating apparatus arranged in the branching tube.
