Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control energization for heating fuel in the case where an electric heating element for heating fuel is provided on a fuel injection valve in terms of protection of the fuel injection valve from overheating.
SOLUTION: An energizing quantity to the electric heating element is controlled so that the quantity of heat inputted to the fuel injection valve does not increase beyond a predetermined balanced relation with respect to the quantity of heat removed from the fuel injection valve by fuel passing through the fuel injection valve.
