PURPOSE: A measuring electode permitting simple and efficient cleaning while the electrode is kept immersed in the liquid to be measured, wherein the cover, which is provided to the end of the electrode, is kept afloat during measurement and is kept sunk during cleaning so as to perform cleaning of the electrode by air and cleaning solution.
