Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to always correctly arrange a mouth of a suction nozzle in a pre-settable yarn end receiving position when receiving a yarn end taken up to a cross-wound spool package.SOLUTION: Adjustment of a swing circuit 21 of a suction nozzle 24 is performed by: bring at least once at first a suction head of the suction nozzle 24 into contact with a predetermined reference point 38 the correct position of which is known, by using an individual driving device 15 for the suction nozzle; then moving the suction nozzle 24 back to a swing position detected by a sensor for swinging; determining an increment required for the swinging; comparing an obtained increment value with an increment value which has been similarly determined beforehand as a reference; generating a correction value by the comparison; and taking the correction value into account when subsequently positioning the suction nozzle 24 in a yarn end receiving position.
