Title:
METHOD OF OPTIMIZING ORGANIC SOLVENT PROCESSING WHEN PRINTING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2012020570
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a method of optimizing organic solvent processing when printing which can improve processing efficiency of organic solvent by more simply estimating a vapor density of the organic solvent in a mixed gas containing the organic solvent vapor evaporated during printing when the organic solvent processing such as recovery and combustion is performed using an organic solvent processor so that the organic solvent may not be discharged into atmosphere.

With the method of optimizing organic solvent processing when printing, a vapor amount of organic solvent generated due to the drying of each printing unit 10 during printing is replaced by a coefficient according to a printing condition. From the coefficient and the suction air volume of a dryer 103, the printing unit 10 with the highest organic solvent vapor density is chosen according to the processing capacity of the organic solvent processor 20. The organic solvent vapor evaporated from an organic solvent-natured printing ink composition generated during the printing operation of the chosen printing unit 10 is sucked by a suction device 1037 together with the air of atmosphere and then fed to the organic solvent processor 20 to be processed.
