When a print order is received, a customer is urged to select whether he/she gives priority to cost or a delivery date. Shipping address information designated by the customer is inputted to the server and a plurality of production sites located close to the shipping address are selected from a plurality of production sites registered in a recording means. When the customer gives priority to cost, the costs required for production and shipping when printing are performed at the plurality of selected production sites are calculated for each of the production sites and the server determines the production site where the total of the costs required for production and shipping is the lowest. When the customer gives priority to a delivery date, periods of time required for production and shipping when printing are performed at the plurality selected of production sites are calculated for each of the production sites and the server determines the production site where the total of the periods of time required for production and shipping is the lowest.
