Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a package of a packaging shape for cylindrical bodies such as heat insulating cylinders made of an inorganic fiber with a packaging material less than that for boxing with a corrugated box, with good productivity, and without generating a breakage of the end part.
SOLUTION: A plurality of the cylindrical bodies 2 are placed in a receptacle 11 to arrange them into a specified form, and protective materials 3 are pushed to both their end faces. Then, the protective materials 3 are pushed against the end faces of the heat insulating cylinders 2 by work pushing members 14a and 14b of the first and second pushers 14 and 15 to restrain the heat insulating cylinders 2 so that the heat insulating cylinders 2 do not collapse. Under this condition, the protective materials 3 and the heat insulating cylinders 2 are sent to a film winding device 18, and the peripheries of the heat insulating cylinders 2 and the protective materials 3 on both end faces are wound with a flexible packaging material 4 such as a stretch film, to integrate the whole body and to form a package.
