Abstract:
To provide a new packaging material for elongated products.
The packaging material is preferably composed of the sheath of a woven material and packages an elongated product, specifically a cable harness. This packaging material has a width narrower than that of the sheath and an adhesive tape attached on at least one edge of the sheath. The tape is adhered on the sheath so as to extend on one longitudinal edge of the sheath. The sheath of the woven material and adhesive tape have one or more cutoff lines in the direction substantially orthogonal to the running direction thereof in a way that the packaging material is manually torn with relative easiness.
