The objective method for packaging a fresh flower comprises the steps of holding the base part 4a of the fresh flower 4 on a cylindrical shaping member 3 with an opening 3a on the top to neatly arrange the fresh flower 4 and wrapping the shaping member 3 with a covering member 6 in such a condition that the base part 4a of the fresh flower 4 thus held is soaked in water 5.
