Abstract:
To provide a method for packing a catalyst into the reaction pipes of a fixed bed multi-pipe type reactor while almost perfectly separating and removing a powdered and collapsed catalyst yielded at the time of movement/transport/handling when the catalyst and/or a mixture of the catalyst and an inert substance is allowed to fall through the reaction pipes of the reactor using a funnel to fill the reaction pipes.
In the method for packing the catalyst while removing the powdered and collapsed catalyst, at least a part of the funnel to be used is made reticulate.
