Abstract:

To pack a steel cut plate lot without occurrence of corrosion on sides by applying a seal on a side end face of a wood skid.

A side end face of a wood skid 2 is sealed 5 by a non-water- permeable tape such as an adhesive tape. Instead of adhesion of the tape, a non-water-permeable resin may be applied or blown. Tinplates, for example, are stacked on the wood skid 2 to form a cut steel plate lot 1 and covered by an anti-corrosion sheet 3 for packing. In this constitution, since a water entrance path 6 is shut by the seal 5, no water is discharged from the side end face, thereby preventing corrosion from occurring on a side of the cut steel plate lot 1. A laminate of polyethylene or the like can be used as the anti-corrosion sheet.
