Abstract:
To prevent the partial temp. rise of a die and the development of thermal stress by reducing uneven temp. of the die.
A copper rod 8 is inserted by boring a hole 7 between the inside of a projecting part in the die for die casting and near a cooled part at the rear part in the die, and also, molten metal 9 having low m.p. is sealed into a gap between the hole 7 and the copper rod 8 and then, the thermal conduction from a high temp. part to a low temp. part in the die is satisfactorily performed.
