Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a transferring amount of data for capturing whole information, and to quicken response since a user makes a request for capturing information in a system for providing multimedia information by the expressing method of information such as a book.
SOLUTION: At a client side, a client communicating part 12 requests the arbitrary part of multimedia information to a server system. The server system transfers only the arbitrary part of the multimedia information in which the logical structure of a document is described by a text as the required information to the client side. The client side interprets the logical structure of the document described by the text of the multimedia information obtained from the server system by a document structure analyzing part 19. The multimedia information and the apparent information of the whole information is presented through a display information controlling part 20 and a book information expressing part 21 to a book information interface part 11 according to this interpreted structure.
